England cruise to victory in Adelaide, knocking India out of T20 World Cup

India's T20 World Cup hopes were dashed on Thursday as England clinched a comfortable 10-wicket win in the second semi-final at the Adelaide Oval.

England's bowlers restricted India to a modest 168/6, with Jos Buttler's unbeaten 80 and Alex Hales' 86 guiding the team to victory with 24 balls to spare. England will now face Pakistan in the final on Sunday.

India's innings was built around a 68-run partnership between Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya, but the middle order failed to fire. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh picked up two wickets each for India, but England's openers proved too strong.
